Area Sales Manager – Edmonton/Western Region

Armour Valve is actively seeking a qualified Area Sales Manager to join our team in Western Canada. Based out of Edmonton, this technical sales professional is responsible for developing new business and managing customer relationships under the supervision of the Western Region General Manager.

Qualified candidates are proven performers with 5-7+ years’ experience in technical sales to industry. Candidates with experience in valves, pipes and fittings and/or process equipment will be given priority. Superior organizational, communication and customer service skills required. Main Job Duties:

• Reports to Western Region General Manager
• Sells valves and related items to Utilities and Industries throughout Western Region
• Extensive travel required

Minimum Requirements:

• 5-7+ years’ experience in technical sales to industry
• Candidates with experience in technical sales to industry will be given priority
• Superior organizational, communication and customer service skills
• Must be a self starter, performance driven and able to work effectively with minimum supervision
• Familiarity with Windows operating environment and the MS Office suite of software
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality standards
